Costumes
Elizabethan theatre wouldn't be complete without beautiful costumes to go along with the roles. No matter what the time period the play was portraying, the actors usually wore clothes of their time period. The costumes had tons of bright colors and the most luxurious fabrics.
Traveling Troupes
There were laws in place about what the actors of traveling troupes were allowed to wear. For instance, they were not allowed to wear any clothes that were above their social class. This was a problem because most of Elizabethan plays had scenes of a king or queen, but the actors were not allowed to dress of higher status.
