William Shakespeare was an English playwright. He was married to Anne Hathaway and had 3 children. By the age of 30, 15 of the 37 plays he wrote had been published. He is known for the tragedies Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare died April 23, 1616.
Christopher Marlowe
Christopher Marlowe is was an English playwright and poet. His works were said to have influenced the works of Shakespeare dramatically. His first published play was Dido, Queen of Carthage. It was published in 1594. He also wrote many tragadies and short plays.
Francis Beaumont
Francis Beaumont, an English playwright, was born in 1585. He wrote a lot of comedies with other playwrights, like John Fletcher.
Thomas Kyd
Thomas Kyd was baptzied November 6 1558. The only play that historians are certain he wrote is Cornelia (1594), a tragedy. Kyd was also thought to have written an earlier version of Hamlet.
